The workshop was successfully organised 9-10 January 2019.

Approximately 100 participants from e.g. Norway, Sweden, Netherlands, France, Germany, USA, Russia, gathered for two days for insightful discussions and scientific input.

Keynote talks covered areas of high interest in Deep Learning, such as explainable AI, bayesian Deep Learning, Deep Learning for inverse problems, and applications in medicine as well as an industrial talk on Deep Learning for power grid inspections.
